This is a stoneware vase with pattern made by inlaying coloured clay into the base surface made from speckled buff clay. It also has some areas carved. Finished with a transparent glaze in some areas, leaving some raw surface exposed, creating interesting contrasts, textures and tone differences. It has two irregular shaped handles finished with a pink matte glaze.

Victoria Gilles Fernández, is a graphic designer and potter from Buenos Aires, Argentina, now based in Manchester, UK.

All of her work is made in her home studio using hand-building techniques.
